Friday April 4th/08 Misty Mornin For more: including the Geese on Guard Duty on the Track last night... http://cid-46cef61ce1a73b95.skydrive.live.com/browse.aspx/Elmo A minute after filming the waddlers a dog came by, a pitty dog(pit bull)... and the geese went into full defense mode! I have seen them rear up out of the marsh, wings full out beating the air, and honkin at a huge red dog to get out of their space! Must thank you all for gettin me out and into this new learnin experience! There are some mating calls in the mornin... there's a red winged blackbird whose lonely and perched in the old tree... will get the photo when it is lighter... Expert Posts: 1465 | Big Day today and the forces of the "Squamish" are with us.... Squamish is big wind, or Mother of the Wind and last night the "Squamish" blew a snowfall up the Whistler Mtns. and cleared the skies over "Elmo"... got this lil photo before the "Squamish" closes us in with clouds again... There'll be lots of fresh snow to see when the sun moves round so I can get another photo... What makes this remarkable is that today is the official ceremony with the "Squamish Nation" and the Ministries of Environment and those who agreed to a Wildlife Management Area designation for the lands west of the spur line... which leads to the Squamish Terminals, the shipping dock at the end of Third Ave. East of Third is the "kiss set site" and the yacht club is 3 blocks east of Third. The ESTUARY waterfront there is under the grip of the District of Squamish, squamish.ca Here's today's Elmo Blue "Skyview"!

Expert Posts: 1465 | That "Squamish", I mean the wind is blowing and it is cold in here. Amazing to see the sky blue! Cloudless... Should be some sunny days next week! May be able to venture out without fear of rain on camera... The birdseed blew off the rooftop, so hoping the birds are ok within kitty reach... Lots of people attended the ceremony and all the politicians were politicing... now for the East side and the OCP(official community plan) to keep the estuary from being dredged for condo/marinas and kept a home for migrating birds! huge birds, like Trumpeter Swans and all the little bitties, too!

Elmo is Alaska and in "Marins" early days in Elmo she sees the Aurora as a gift and feels blessed... Got this photo from the Internet, msn, nasa stuff, of THE AURORA BOREALIS FROM OUTERSPACE... coincidently, it shows as Green which is what is also seen in the photos I was sent which shows the Aurora Borealis over a camp in Yellowknife, North West Territories, Canada... our far North, parallel to Alaska...

Annefan, I don't want to hear that you can't see the white figures and faces on the dark rock, ok... just enjoy this unusual sunny day, ok... keep enjoyin clear blue skyviews... which are first, The Chief, Diamond Head, Mt.
